VP – Engineering Manager (Full Stack & AI Enablement)

Overview

Lead and manage engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions, driving technical excellence and aligning technical decisions with business objectives. Spearhead the evolution of infrastructure and deployment pipelines while fostering innovation and operational excellence.

What you'll do

• Lead engineering teams to foster a collaborative, high-performance culture and achieve project goals.
• Oversee timelines, team allocation, risk management and task prioritization to deliver solutions within scope, time and budget.
• Mentor team members, support their professional growth, conduct performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.
• Evaluate and enhance engineering processes, tools and methodologies to increase efficiency and team productivity.
• Collaborate with business partners, product managers, designers and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Enforce technology standards, facilitate peer reviews and implement robust testing practices.
• Drive architecture reviews to ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, secure and maintainable.
• Drive adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices across teams, leveraging tools such as Copilot, Claude and enterprise AI platforms.
• Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, supporting the control and governance agenda.
• Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership and senior management, on functional and cross-functional impact and alignment.
• Plan resources, budgets and policies; deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies or procedures.
• Lead Engineering Managers, Software Engineers, QA Engineers and Scrum Masters, and build high-performing, inclusive teams.

• Experience with Java, Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with Angular, React and modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience with API-led and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, SRE and Observability.
• Experience with secure and resilient software engineering practices.
