Lead Java Full Stack Developer - Angular/React - Vice President

Overview

Senior full-stack developer role focused on Angular/React-based modern UI architecture and Java-based backend systems, contributing to scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications with a focus on Angular/React.js and modern UI architecture.
• Modernize legacy Angular applications into React-based solutions.
• Develop backend services using Java (17+), Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Build RESTful web services and API gateways, such as Apigee.
• Build and maintain event-driven data pipelines with real-time data processing using Kafka.
• Integrate applications with both SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases, utilizing caching solutions where appropriate.
• Integrate with Oracle and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, TeamCity, or similar tools.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift for containerized deployments.
• Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity.
• Monitor applications using ELK, Grafana, and resolve production issues.
• Build and maintain large-scale data processing applications.
• Apply responsive design principles, accessibility (ADA compliance), and end-to-end UI deployment strategies.

What you'll need

• Expert-level proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js/Angular), JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proven experience building RESTful web services and API gateways, such as Apigee.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Harness or Tekton.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles, accessibility (ADA compliance), and end-to-end UI deployment strategies.
• Proficiency with build tools like Maven or Gradle and unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).
• 13+ years of experience in full stack development.
• Strong coding, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Experience working in Agile and global team environments.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with data virtualization systems like Starburst.
• Experience with Python for scripting or data manipulation.
• Experience with QA automation frameworks and strategies for large-scale data processing.
• Familiarity with job scheduling tools like Autosys or ETL processes.
• Experience with AI coding assistants.
