VP of Engineering

Overview

Lead the engineering organization responsible for reliable, governed AI-driven execution for regulated banking customers. Own reliability, auditability, multi-LLM governance, and engineering delivery as product requirements evolve.

What you'll do

• Define engineering strategy for non-deterministic execution, resumable workflows, and human-in-the-loop control.
• Lead deployment pipelines within customer-owned, regulated infrastructure.
• Own governance for model and LLM decisions, audit trails, and multi-LLM policy enforcement.
• Build cross-functional teams aligned across product, security, and SRE.
• Translate production feedback into ontology improvements and roadmap inputs.
• Establish observability, incident response, and SLO ownership for regulatory audits.
• Represent the company to senior customers and regulators on technical risk and continuity.

What you'll need

• Experience leading large-scale AI execution platforms and high-availability, auditable systems.
• Deep knowledge of distributed workflow orchestration, durable execution engines, and LLM integration.
• Hands-on experience with Go and Python.
• Knowledge of bank-owned data-center architectures, network segmentation, zero-trust security, and compliance-by-design.
• Background in reliability engineering, SLOs, incident management, and observability.
• Experience building multi-LLM governance, policy enforcement, audit logging, and model lifecycle controls.
• Experience building engineering organizations and hiring senior talent.
