WLAN- Engineer

Overview

Develop and maintain Wi-Fi software features for Qualcomm Wireless LAN SoC solutions based on IEEE 802.11.

What you'll do

• Design protocol-layer features for WLAN drivers and applications.
• Develop and unit test IEEE 802.11 device features.
• Maintain WLAN driver and application code.
• Collaborate with firmware and system test teams to resolve system-level issues.
• Break down new features and conduct feasibility studies.
• Estimate effort and define risk-mitigation measures.

What you'll need

• 1–2 years of hands-on Linux kernel and network driver development experience.
• Excellent C programming skills.
• Knowledge of IEEE 802.11 and WFA protocols.
• Experience with wpa_supplicant, hostapd, and nl80211.
• Experience with Linux IPC and synchronization mechanisms.
• Knowledge of Wireshark, OmniPeek, Chariot, and iPerf.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Communications Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
