Overview

Associate Engineer (HW) role under Qualcomm’s hardware engineering group, focused on modem/multimedia/connectivity and related areas within a SoC.

What you'll do

• Perform detailed technical analysis.
• Translate ideas into models, software (SW) and/or hardware (HW).
• Work closely with other teams to help deliver real products.
• Influence various subsystems within the SoC.
• Support areas including SoC & Hard Macro Physical Design and SoC Validation & Debug.
• Contribute to design activities such as RF/Analog/Mixed Signal/Power IC Design and digital ASIC design.

What you'll need

• Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
• Educational background including verifying SoC with embedded RISC/DSP processors and communications/networking ASICs.
• Proficiency with Verilog or VHDL and C/C++; experience with Tcl/Perl/shell scripting.
• RTL design experience and/or strong object-oriented (OO) programming knowledge.
• Required RF/Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design knowledge such as PLL, LNA, OpAmp, CMOS, ADC/DAC, Cadence, SpectreRF, or layout.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in teams.
