Accounts Executive

About the role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our Bangalore office and manage our day-to-day financial operations, customer invoicing, and credit control. You'll be the backbone of our accounting function, handling everything from GST filings to customer payment follow-ups while maintaining strong relationships with our client base.

What you'll do

• Manage invoicing and payment collection from customers; perform efficient credit control by monitoring payment patterns and conducting timely follow-ups
• Operate Zoho Books end-to-end to generate daily and monthly sales reports, financial analysis, and meaningful insights for management
• File monthly GST returns and prepare yearly Professional Tax and Income Tax documentation
• Maintain comprehensive bookkeeping records: operating expenses, vouchers, sales, purchases, and office expense files
• Prepare quotations for existing and prospective customers; understand buying patterns and make reminder calls to drive repeat orders
• Prepare salary statements and process vendor/employee payments by verifying documentation and coordinating account transfers
• Ensure office upkeep, inventory updates, and management of all accounting records and files

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a professional, pleasing personality
• 1+ years of experience in accounts or accounting operations
• Proficiency in Zoho Books or Tally (mandatory); strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Fluency in English, Kannada, and Hindi (spoken and written)
• Local to Sarjapur/Bangalore preferred; willingness to work on-site at our Sree Narayana Nagar office

Nice to have

• Prior experience in credit control or accounts receivable
• Familiarity with GST compliance and tax filing processes
• Experience with customer relationship management in a B2B environment
