Accounts Payable Accountant

Overview

Accounts Payable Accountant role responsible for recording and processing payables activities in line with local law and standards.

What you'll do

• Record accounting transactions in the assigned area per local law and MAF standards.
• Check primary document requirements (e.g., master data, reception).
• Execute subsequent account system operations (unblocking for payment, payment processing, items clearing).
• Ensure observance of internal audit LSF rules.
• Prepare balance sheet justifications for payables sub-ledger.
• Support monthly closing documentation and audits/tax checks.
• Communicate with external and internal partners and resolve accounting differences.

What you'll need

• Follow internal audit LSF rules (observance/check).
• Work with accounting/discrepancy resolution across price, volume, and payment.
• Handle e-proc request approvals, including account number checks.
• Prepare supporting documentation for audits and tax checks.
• Provide communication with partners for payables processing.
• Contribute to Ethics & Compliance by applying code of Ethics and Valeo policies.
