Advanced Software Developer

Overview

Advanced Software Developer role supporting Solventum’s Health Information Systems Business.

What you'll do

• Participate in and/or lead technical design sessions to formulate maintainable technical designs.
• Develop code for business and technical needs, including creating test data and running unit/integration tests.
• Perform performance and stress testing to meet client expectations for responsiveness and resource usage.
• Support the identification, design, and development of automation such as CI/CD to improve quality and efficiency.
• Participate in retrospective reviews to implement process improvements.
• Identify risks and manage them in support of release goals, addressing client-identified issues.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
• 3+ years developing software using object-oriented principles.
• Experience with Java, object-oriented design, and applying design patterns.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript UI development and Angular.
• Proficiency with an IDE such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, or Visual Studio.
• Experience with web services (RESTful services), web application development, and JSON.
• Experience using GitHub source control.
