Advisory Solution Engineer - Enterprise

Overview

Advisory Solution Engineer (Enterprise) is a pre-sales Solution Engineer role that supports US West sales regions for enterprise accounts.

What you'll do

• Participate in the sales process with direct and channel sales teams.
• Discover and understand customer requirements and align solutions accordingly.
• Present SailPoint business functions, value, and competitive differences.
• Deliver product demonstrations and support Proof of Value (POV) evaluations.
• Assist with developing RFP responses in coordination with the RFP team.
• Provide feedback to product management on product enhancements.

What you'll need

• 5+ years professional experience as a pre-sales technical resource in B2B enterprise software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of technical infrastructure: web services, app servers, databases, virtualization, and directories.
• Knowledge of modern SaaS architecture.
• Familiarity with Java, XML, LDAP, SQL, JSON, and Azure/AWS/GCP (desirable).
• 3+ years working with Identity, Governance and Access Management solutions (preferred).

• Work location: residence in Chicago, IL is required.
• Work mode: Remote (Illinois, USA).
• Team support: US West sales regions for enterprise accounts.
• Travel: anticipate 25% travel within the US (primarily Western US).
