Overview
Senior AEM Developer role focused on designing and implementing enterprise web applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM / AEM as a Cloud Service).
What you'll do
- Design and develop custom AEM components, templates, dialogs, schedulers, workflows, and OSGi services.
- Build multi-site, multi-lingual, and multi-channel publishing solutions using AEM WCM, DAM, and MSM.
- Guide migration efforts for AEM as a Cloud Service and configure Dispatcher and deployment pipelines.
- Integrate AEM with third-party/enterprise services such as CRM, Adobe Analytics/Target, and headless content APIs.
- Perform code reviews, enforce best practices (TDD, CI/CD), and mentor junior-to-mid-level developers.
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance, caching strategies, and security compliance.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to translate requirements into technical execution plans and estimates.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of total software development experience.
- 3+ to 5+ years of hands-on technical experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x and AEM as a Cloud Service).
- Deep understanding of Apache Sling, Apache Felix (OSGi), JCR, and CRX.
- Proficiency building Touch UI components using Granite UI, HTL, and Sling Models.
- Experience configuring Dispatchers, replication agents, and cloud manager pipelines.
- Advanced proficiency in Core Java/J2EE and REST web services, plus enterprise design patterns.
- Experience with Maven, Webpack/Babel, Git, Jenkins, Adobe Cloud Manager, and unit testing (JUnit/Mockito).
Nice to have
- Adobe-certified expert credentials (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert – AEM Sites Developer).
- Experience with headless content delivery (AEM Content Services / GraphQL).
- Hands-on exposure to Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem tools (Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Campaign).
