Senior Engineer, QE

Overview

Senior Engineer, QE who owns test strategy and test coverage for a team’s features, acting as a strategic quality partner.

What you'll do

• Define and execute test strategies across UI, API, and service layers.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and performance testing suites.
• Use AI-assisted tools and agentic workflows to speed up testing and debugging.
• Lead risk assessments, release validations, and root-cause analyses for critical issues.
• Implement shift-left practices and enforce quality gates within development teams.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software quality engineering roles.
• Deep proficiency in testing with TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frontend ecosystems.
• Expert experience with Playwright or comparable browser automation frameworks.
• Strong experience with unit and component testing frameworks like Vitest, Jest, or React Testing Library.
• Proven experience designing/building test automation frameworks at scale.
• Understanding of CI/CD systems and integrating test suites into them.
