AEM - UI EDS - Consultant

Overview

Consultant role focused on translating business requirements into UI and front-end technical requirements, with strong skills across responsive design, design systems, and modern front-end development.

What you'll do

• Translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Support CMS-based template editing and content authoring usability.
• Build responsive, mobile-first UI experiences.
• Implement design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries.
• Develop front-end solutions using JAMstack and micro front-end/headless concepts (plus).
• Work with RESTful and GraphQL APIs for integration.
• Apply web accessibility (WCAG) and information structuring practices.

What you'll need

• Familiarity with CMS template editor and content author roles.
• Proficiency in front-end development with HTML5 and CSS3 (BEM preferred).
• Strong JavaScript skills including DOM manipulation and object model; ES6 knowledge.
• Experience using responsive, mobile-first design approaches.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe XD, or Sketch/Figma.
• Experience with Git or other code versioning tools.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.
