AEM - UI EDS - Consultant

Overview

AEM UI EDS Consultant focused on translating business requirements into technical requirements and building usable, intuitive CMS-based interfaces with strong front-end engineering skills.

What you'll do

• Translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Support CMS template editor and content author workflows.
• Design responsive, mobile-first UI experiences.
• Build front-end solutions using JAM stack concepts.
• Implement JavaScript (including ES6) features with DOM manipulation.
• Apply web accessibility guidance (WCAG) and information architecture.
• Work with front-end build pipelines and version control tools like Git.

What you'll need

• Functional knowledge of CMS template editor and content author roles.
• Expertise in responsive design and mobile-first application design.
• Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3, with BEM methodology preferred.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Detailed knowledge of JavaScript (ES6).
• Understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Understanding of Web Accessibility WCAG guidelines.

• Hybrid approach with teams in the office an average of four days a week.
