AI Accelerator System Architect

Overview

Senior RDU System Architect responsible for defining and delivering RDU-based platform architecture, from board and rack designs to bring-up, qualification, and fleet deployment.

What you'll do

• Translate product and customer requirements into system specifications for board and chassis designs through full-rack integration.
• Select and validate major system components balancing performance, power envelope, and manufacturability.
• Architect scale-up/scale-out interconnect fabrics to meet bandwidth and latency targets.
• Own power delivery architecture and air/liquid cooling strategy within thermal budgets.
• Evaluate ODM/OEM and component vendor proposals and decide build, buy, or co-develop approaches.
• Define bring-up, validation, qualification, reliability (RAS), and telemetry targets; lead root-cause investigations when behavior diverges.

What you'll need

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years architecting hardware systems for hyperscale, HPC, or AI/ML infrastructure.
• Hands-on background in at least one systems domain such as interconnect, power delivery, thermal/cooling, or mechanical.
• Experience owning system architecture at board, rack, or cluster scale, including writing specs for others.
• Track record carrying a system through architecture definition, bring-up, and volume production.
• Comfort reasoning across domains where interconnect, power, thermal, and mechanical design affect each other.
• Clear technical writing skills for specs, reviews, and coordination with engineering and partner teams.

• Base pay range: $250,000–$350,000 USD.
