AI Engineer

Overview

Airbus is hiring an AI Engineer (4–7 years) to architect, build, and deploy production-grade AI/ML and generative AI products.

What you'll do

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of advanced AI products from architecture to production deployment.
• Build intelligent automation systems that parse and modernize legacy code and technical documentation using NLP and LLMs.
• Design prompt architectures, RAG pipelines, and fine-tuned models for domain-specific artifact generation.
• Deploy and scale AI microservices and batch processing pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Set up CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, robust APIs, and technical documentation for AI assets.
• Implement AI cost monitoring and FinOps practices to track and optimize inference costs.

What you'll need

• 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience building, deploying, and scaling end-to-end AI/ML products.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• At least one recognized cloud or AI certification (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer or equivalent).
• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Vertex AI, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and GKE.
• Proficiency in LLMs and RAG architectures, including vector databases like Pinecone/ChromaDB/Vertex Vector Search.
• Strong programming skills in Python and modern web/backend stacks (RESTful APIs, gRPC, microservices).
• Familiarity with AST analysis, static code analysis, compiler concepts, or DSL translation techniques.
