AI Infrastructure Architect

Overview

Architect and build custom AI infrastructure and hardware solutions, optimizing performance, power consumption, cost and scalability of the computational stack, and advising on AI infrastructure technology and vendor evaluation, selection and full stack integration.

What you'll do

• Architect and build custom artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure and hardware solutions.
• Optimize AI infrastructure and hardware performance, power consumption, cost and scalability of the computational stack.
• Advise on AI infrastructure technology and vendor evaluation, selection and full stack integration.
• Act as an SME, collaborating with and managing the team, and taking responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams, contribute on key decisions and provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across teams.
• Lead the evaluation and integration of new AI infrastructure technologies to enhance system capabilities.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication to align infrastructure strategies with organizational goals.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and ensure knowledge transfer.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Infrastructure As Code (IaC).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure As Code (IaC).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning and automation tools related to Infrastructure As Code.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure scalability, performance tuning, and cost optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with configuration management and orchestration frameworks.
• Ability to design and implement secure, reliable, and maintainable infrastructure solutions.
• Knowledge of hardware-software integration and vendor evaluation processes.
• Relevant full time education.
