AI/ML Solution Architect

Overview

Design and deliver production AI/ML systems for education and assessment platforms, translating ministry and programme requirements into secure, operable architectures. The role covers GenAI, NLP, document AI, workflow design, cloud platforms, and LLMOps/MLOps.

What you'll do

• Lead solution workshops with programme, ministry, and engineering stakeholders.
• Convert requirements into service designs, data stores, diagrams, decision gates, and architecture records.
• Architect RAG, multi-agent, LLM-as-judge, OCR, and constraint-based assessment pipelines.
• Design human-in-the-loop workflows with auditability, segregation of duties, and PII controls.
• Own cloud reference architectures covering identity, networking, observability, and cost controls.
• Define evaluation harnesses, release gates, fallbacks, and production-readiness requirements.
• Stay accountable through production and mentor technical leads.

What you'll need

• 8+ years building software or data/AI systems.
• Recent experience as a Solution Architect, AI/ML Architect, or Principal/Staff Engineer.
• End-to-end architecture ownership experience.
• At least one production AI/ML system shipped at scale.
• Experience with RAG, multi-agent, LLM-as-judge, or comparable classical ML/NLP pipelines.
• Experience with LLMOps, MLOps, DevSecOps, SRE, cloud migration, and FinOps.
• Ability to design Azure-centred RAG and multi-agent systems accepted by security teams.
