AI Project Senior Analyst - Assistant Vice President

Overview

Senior project analyst role at Assistant Vice President level, leading the delivery of AI programs. The role applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, coordinates across sub-function and business objectives, and provides informal or formal leadership and coaching within teams.

What you'll do

• Ensure creation of project plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log for AI programs.
• Identify key stakeholders who will participate in project scope definition.
• Identify, document, and understand project dependencies.
• Ensure appropriate resources are assigned to project and monitor commitment.
• Ensure change control is executed throughout project.
• Establish project communication needs and support creation of project communication plan.
• Track actual project costs, identify variances, and reforecast project costs as needed.
• Measure project management performance against standards.
• Create the project risk management plan.
• Work with procurement team to create, administer, track, and eventually close project contracts.
• Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Coach and train new recruits.

What you'll need

• 5-8 years relevant experience in running AI projects.
• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate complex and dynamic material from multiple sources.
• Strong communication and diplomacy skills.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in managing AI projects including SDLC and sustainability controls.
