AI Security Engineer

Overview

Build, deploy, integrate, automate, and support security controls that protect Carrier's enterprise artificial intelligence ecosystem. Partner with security, cloud, data, platform, and application teams to secure AI platforms and services.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain security controls for enterprise AI platforms and services.
• Implement safeguards for Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Services, LLM applications, and machine learning platforms.
• Integrate AI security controls with identity, data protection, monitoring, and cloud security platforms.
• Develop automation, workflows, detections, dashboards, and reporting for AI security operations.
• Monitor for AI misuse, prompt injection, unauthorized access, and sensitive data exposure.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, incident response, investigations, and remediation.
• Create documentation, implementation guides, procedures, and operational runbooks.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or the stated alternative of high school/GED with military or direct AI security experience.
• 5+ years implementing or supporting cybersecurity technologies.
• Experience with cloud, application, infrastructure, or security engineering environments.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the USA.
• Skills in cybersecurity, cloud security, automation, identity, data protection, and AI technologies.
• Ability to develop scripts, automations, APIs, or integrations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, or related Microsoft security technologies.
• Knowledge of DLP, CASB, SSE, SIEM, EDR, identity, and cloud-native security controls.
• Experience with Python, PowerShell, C#, Terraform, or comparable technologies.
• Knowledge of generative AI, machine learning, LLMs, RAG, and AI security frameworks.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Azure Security Engineer, Security+, or Microsoft AI certifications.

• Remote role associated with Remote City, Florida, United States.
• Annual salary: $117,500–$234,500.
