Alternative Ops Derivatives & Collateral Management, Officer

Overview

Senior manager role in Bank Loans, supporting the secondary market for syndicated loans and the processing of financial activities that feed NAV calculations for clients, while contributing to process, people and risk standards for the team.

What you'll do

• Monitor and process custody-related events to fund records accurately and on time.
• Follow up promptly on exceptions and facilitate timely problem resolution to mitigate risk.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations, increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage resources (people, budget, technology) effectively to achieve operational objectives.
• Track key performance indicators and take corrective action where needed.
• Lead and develop a team of managers and staff within the operations department.
• Work with other executive teams to ensure alignment and coordination across the organization.
• Ensure operations deliver high-quality products or services that meet customer needs.
• Identify and mitigate potential operational risks.

What you'll need

• Deep knowledge of loan syndications, including the syndication process, market dynamics and relevant regulations.
• Result-oriented, with an ownership and accountability mindset.
• Commercial acumen, including understanding of cost and budgets.
• Executive presence, managing with influence and communicating effectively across stakeholder groups regionally and globally.
• Bachelor's degree in commerce or economics with a specialization in business, accounting, finance or another financial-related program.
• 10-16 years' experience in accounting, finance, mutual fund operations, loan servicing or related careers.

Nice to have

• Inter C.A., Inter ICWAI or CFA (pursuing).
