Analyst - Business Intelligence, GIC SC Analytics

Overview

An entry-level Business Intelligence role supporting data extraction, transformation and loading, and the development and maintenance of BI solutions in Tableau, with foundational supply chain knowledge.

What you'll do

• Perform extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from multiple sources like GCP, SQL, AFO, and SAP ERP for low-complexity projects.
• Create database queries and scripts using SQL and BigQuery for data manipulation and analysis.
• Develop and maintain BI solutions, including interactive tools, automation, and data visualizations in Tableau.
• Conduct basic data analysis and validation to ensure the accuracy and consistency of deliverables.
• Work with senior team members and data engineers to refine data models and improve BI assets.
• Execute assigned project tasks with precision, ensuring all deliverables are met within the established timelines and project scope.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactively call out potential risks and seek guidance from senior team members to ensure thorough risk management.
• Develop and demonstrate basic knowledge of supply chain principles, processes, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive better solutions and analysis.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (Mandatory).
• 1+ years of experience in data development, analysis, or visualization, with demonstrated technical acumen.
• Expertise in data ETL, SQL/BigQuery query writing, and visualization best practices.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Advanced Excel, Tableau, and SQL Server.
• Demonstrates clear written and verbal communication skills, along with strong collaboration abilities and a positive, constructive attitude.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering or a related field, with a B.E. or B.Tech. in the relevant discipline.
• Professional Certifications: SQL, GCP, Tableau, Excel.
• Basic understanding of Supply Chain or CPG industry.

Details

• Location: Powai, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
• Shift: 1:30pm to 10:30pm.
