Analyst

Overview

Analyst role in NAB Innovation Centre India focused on functional testing of software solutions, particularly credit card and payments platforms, within an Agile delivery team.

What you'll do

• Plan and design test approaches according to business requirements.
• Define positive and negative test cases according to acceptance criteria.
• Consult with product owners and business analysts to define user acceptance tests.
• Participate in testing effort estimates and actuals to deliver stories and features.
• Undertake testing activities as required to ensure software solutions meet agreed specifications.
• Coach, mentor and guide other team members and continuously uplift skills across the asset.
• Participate in relevant Agile ceremonies: backlog refinement, daily stand-up, iteration and release planning, showcases and sprint reviews, retrospectives, and user acceptance tests.
• Comply with project plans, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Drive an automation-led approach for system, SIT and unit testing.
• Incorporate automated tests into CI/CD processes.

What you'll need

• Over 3 years of technology experience in functional testing.
• Application knowledge of FirstVision, Cards Platform, Cards Schemes (Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS), Vision+ and batch management.
• Experience in credit card products and their lifecycle, including statement processing and interest calculations.
• Experience with instalments and balance transfers, hardships and collections, fraud, 3DS and disputes.
• Experience with payments: Direct Debits, BPAY and NPP.
• Software delivery technical skills: creating test scenarios, test execution, defect analysis, SIT support, pre-production preparation and production change management, requirements management and vendor management.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Rally or Quest, and simulators VTS, MAS and Paysim.
• Experience in automation for API and web testing.
• Tertiary qualification in a technology-related degree.
