Analyst, Deal Desk & Contract Analytics

Overview

The Analyst, Deal Desk & Contract Analytics role ensures accurate cost assignment, margin transparency, revenue recognition support, and overage billing integrity across client contracts. The role consolidates contractual entitlements and reconciles them against actual platform and service usage across multiple enterprise systems.

What you'll do

• Pull usage data from Snowflake.
• Map usage to contract entitlements.
• Maintain entitlement versus usage dashboards.
• Refresh dashboards monthly.
• QA anomalies, including usage spikes, missing account IDs, and mismatches.
• Prepare monthly, CS-ready insights.
• Partner with CS Ops, BI, and Data Engineering on data issues.
• Execute monthly entitlement-to-usage reconciliation processes across all tracked customer contracts.
• Produce variance analyses and identify revenue leakage, unbilled overages, and margin risks.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Business Analytics, Financial Systems, Revenue Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience with contract-based or usage-based pricing models.
• Familiarity with revenue recognition concepts, contract structures, and margin reporting.
• Advanced SQL skills, with Snowflake preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce and enterprise data systems.
• Expertise in dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent.
• Data reconciliation and exception management.
• Root cause analysis.
• Contract and pricing interpretation.
• BI dashboarding.
• Data quality management.
• Salesforce / CRM familiarity.
• Strong documentation discipline.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in SaaS, advertising technology, or data platform environments.
• Familiarity with Apptio or cost modeling platforms.
• Knowledge of platform metering frameworks.
• Experience working in a global, cross-functional organization.
