Overview

Analyst role in Bank of America’s Global Business Services (GCIB - Global Capital Markets), supporting equity capital markets work across origination, syndication, analysis, and transaction execution.

What you'll do

• Support origination and execution of equity and equity-linked transactions (e.g., IPOs, FOs, QIPs, convertibles).
• Prepare and refine client advisory materials including strategic presentations.
• Analyze precedent transactions covering deal structure, valuation benchmarks, investor response, and aftermarket performance.
• Provide regular market condition updates by industry sector.
• Conduct shareholder base analysis and assist with investor targeting and investor profiling.
• Collaborate on automating business processes by identifying automation opportunities.

What you'll need

• 1+ years of relevant experience post MBA in Equity Capital Markets (preferred).
• Foundation in financial modelling skills.
• Strong finance knowledge including understanding of global companies’ filings and financials.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Dealogic and Bloomberg skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Work location: Mumbai.
• Work timings listed as 8.30 am - 6.00 pm (Mon-Fri) / 11.30 am - 9.00 pm (Mon-Fri), with comfort working weekends, public holidays, and long hours.
