Senior Analyst, Medtech/Healthcare Services (Equity Research)

Overview

Senior Analyst will support Guidepoint’s Insights offering for institutional and corporate clients, focusing on medtech, life sciences tools, and healthcare services coverage. The role is based in India and works with the Global Healthcare Insights team.

What you'll do

• Monitor public and private companies in the medtech/lifesciences tools/healthcare services sector.
• Track industry trends, material news, earnings releases, and investor presentations.
• Build a pipeline of company and industry topics and generate discussion-worthy original ideas.
• Create and moderate teleconferences featuring experts from Guidepoint’s network.
• Review teleconference transcripts for content quality and summarize key discussion points.
• Adhere to Guidepoint compliance policies and vet expert relevance and profile accuracy.
• Partner with research teams to identify and recruit additional industry experts and manage expert/client relationships.

What you'll need

• Require a PhD or Masters degree in STEM or life sciences.
• Require 5+ years of preferred experience in a financial services or research firm focused on EMEA medtech/lifesciences tools/healthcare services.
• Need understanding of institutional buy-side/sell-side research and investing workflows.
• Need English fluency (written and verbal).
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work individually and as part of a team, including training and mentoring junior professionals.
• Must demonstrate outgoing interpersonal skills to speak across professional levels.
