Analyst I - Account Management - Captives

Overview

Manage the day-to-day activities of a portfolio of captive insurance company clients, including accounting, financial reporting, compliance and client relationship activities.

What you'll do

• Manage a portfolio of clients and the day-to-day activities of their captive insurance companies.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including supplemental financial information required by clients.
• Become familiar with international clients' unique rules and regulations.
• Reconcile cash and investment accounts.
• Prepare bank deposits and cash disbursements.
• Assist with the annual audit for clients, including preparation of regulatory filings and GAAP financial statements.
• Help ensure legal and regulatory compliance processes and procedures are followed for local accounting and financial reporting.
• Maintain client files in accordance with regulations and best practices.
• Develop client and third-party provider relationships.
• Correspond with other service providers, including reviewing, analyzing and discussing reports provided by actuaries, auditors, claims handlers and other providers.
• Prepare board and committee meeting materials.
• Participate in annual board of directors' meetings and other client meetings.
• Comply with Marsh internal controls and any client-specific internal controls.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Details

• Location: Mumbai - Hiranandani.
• Hybrid work includes working remotely and working together in the office.
• Expected to be in the local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week.
• Office-based teams identify at least one anchor day per week for the full team to be together in person.
