Analyst II, READI

Overview

Analyst II role within IFF's Global Business Services team, providing analytical support to global manufacturing, quality, and innovation teams from Chennai, India.

What you'll do

• Deliver expert analytical support to global manufacturing, quality, and innovation teams.
• Interpret GC and GC-MS data to drive quality and material disposition decisions.
• Investigate quality deviations, OOS results, and customer complaints to minimize risk.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve technical and quality challenges.
• Support continuous improvement and digital initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Food Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in analytical laboratories, quality, or chromatography-based roles.
• Hands-on experience with GC and/or GC-MS instrumentation and data interpretation.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and root-cause investigation skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across global teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, Power Automate, or similar analytics tools.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, trend monitoring, and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience building dashboards, KPI reports, or automated reporting solutions.
• Exposure to laboratory informatics, digital transformation, or automation projects.
• Background in flavors, fragrances, food, pharmaceutical, or specialty chemical industries.
