Analyst - Procurement

Overview

Analyst role in Flex's Global Business Services procurement team in India, processing purchase orders quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Manage C class items procurement activities.
• Run the end-to-end purchasing cycle: PR to PO, sending POs to suppliers, PO confirmation, delivery follow-up and supplier payment coordination.
• Coordinate with vendors on actual delivery status of material.
• Complete the Open Purchase Order Report and Shortage Report on time for review.
• Work pull-in, push-out and cancellations per the MRP report and achieve KPI targets.
• Maintain inventory at optimum levels per site requirements.
• Coordinate with internal business partners (requestors) and suppliers on purchase order changes.
• Manage the supplier database.
• Manage shortage and excess escalations.
• Coordinate and follow through on urgent receipts and past-due items, and resolve receiving challenges.

What you'll need

• Diploma, B.Com, BBA, B.Sc or MBA.
• Knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• 0 to 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain.
