Procurement Ops Analyst I

Overview

Procurement Ops Analyst I supports execution of commodity and category procurement strategies, policies and tactics within HPE Operations, working on simple-to-complex commodities and specific technologies.

What you'll do

• Provide procurement support across multiple simple-to-complex commodities and specific technologies to develop expertise.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners (e.g., finance, legal) to meet business objectives and ensure control and compliance requirements across businesses.
• Perform assigned tasks and apply experience to align individual work with overall strategy using discretion and judgment.
• Collaborate with teams to maintain and enhance current operations and processes.
• Execute process improvements.
• Participate in Supplier Selection activities.
• May lead activities for less complex domains.
• Assess the supply base of the category.
• Negotiate contracts with low-risk suppliers and engage with low-complexity suppliers; may be responsible for day-to-day operations of low-complexity suppliers.
• Execute standard risk mitigation and business continuity, cost management and operations strategies; identify common contract risk areas.

What you'll need

• First level university degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically 0-2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain function.
• Developed understanding of procurement processes.
• Mastery in English and local language.
• Demonstrated analytical and technical aptitude.
• Good business application skills.
• Developed communication skills.
• Basic understanding of corporate compliance.
• Basic project management skills.

Nice to have

• Programming skills (SQL etc.).

• Hybrid role: on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.
