Analyst - Retail Accounting

Overview

Analyst supporting retail accounting operations across the Americas, covering retail accounting support, reconciliations and variance resolution for stores, in partnership with Retail Operations and other teams.

What you'll do

• Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support new store opening setup and renewal of business licenses
• Perform quality checks on retail cash variances (POS, deposits, bank matching) and retail accounting reports
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items and close variances in partnership with upstream teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams
• Support internal and external audits
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and standardization

What you'll need

• Qualified Accountant, CA, ICWA or MBA (Finance)
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and RTR processes
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment
• Flexible working in global time zone

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP / S/4HANA or large ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI and Copilot
