Analyst - RTR (HK - Temp)

Overview

Analyst role handling general ledger accounting, month-end closing and RTR (record-to-report) activities for WPP, a 6-month temporary contract based in Mumbai (Vikhroli).

What you'll do

• Handle all GL-related activities, including general ledger accounting and month-end closing.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and assist in financial reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve queries.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors for interim audit and provide the details and schedules they require.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly P&L and balance sheet along with schedules and other reports required by management.
• Perform monthly analysis of P&L and balance sheet items and highlight major variances and observations to management.
• Handle all GL-related queries via mail and calls from OPCO team, inter-department, agency and region.
• Support SOX compliance.

What you'll need

• Commerce graduate, semi-qualified CA or qualified CA.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in GL accounting and RTR / financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of GL accounting and RTR process.

Details

• Location: Mumbai, India (Vikhroli); WPP prefers Mumbai-based candidates only.
• Shift starts at 6:30 am.
• Cab facility available for home pick-up and drop.
• Contract duration: 6 months.
• Hybrid work with teams in the office around four days a week.
