Analyst/ Sr Analyst/ Manager- Credit Analysis- Financial Institutions

Overview

Credit analyst role covering a varied portfolio of financial institutions across developed and emerging economies, with an opportunity to support the build-out of the NBFI strategy.

What you'll do

• Perform forward-looking fundamental credit analysis on live transactions, limit renewals and annual reviews.
• Quickly assess key credit issues, raise salient points to the correct stakeholders and assess the risk-reward trade-off.
• Present key risks and mitigants.
• Work side by side with relationship bankers and product partners.
• Support asset manager transactions across securitised products, secured finance, FX, rates and credit.
• Ensure accurate and timely compliance with internal rules and reporting procedures.
• Manage ever-changing and often conflicting priorities.

What you'll need

• Experience in fundamental FI credit, insurance or NBFI analysis gained in a bank, asset manager or rating agency environment.
• Emphasis on credit analysis in the context of a transaction or event, or a strong motivation to move into a transaction-driven environment.
• Experience of covering FIs in EMEA, preferred.
• A good understanding of loan documentation and key credit protections.

Nice to have

• Experience of NBFI (insurance or financial sponsors).
• Understanding of market risk and ISDA/CSA documents.
• European language skills (not essential).
• Degree level and professional qualifications, or similar qualifications.
