Analytics Engineer

Overview

Analytics Engineer responsible for owning the analytics foundation (dbt models, testing, and Databricks BI) to provide trusted data for the business.

What you'll do

• Design and build production dbt models on Databricks as the source of truth.
• Support external reporting with accurate, governed data.
• Own data quality through testing, CI/CD, documentation, and team patterns.
• Build and evolve Databricks dashboards and semantic metrics for self-service.
• Partner with Data Engineering and analytics stakeholders to create durable data products.
• Drive AI-native workflows using Cursor/Claude for daily development and model/metric documentation.

What you'll need

• 7+ years in analytics engineering or equivalent with end-to-end ownership of production models.
• Expert SQL and deep dbt experience including architecture, incremental models, tests, macros, and CI/CD.
• Strong Databricks BI (or equivalent semantic layer) delivery.
• AI-savvy in practice, using AI coding tools daily and validating outputs rigorously.
• Proven ability to execute in ambiguity and ship with incomplete specs.
• Clear communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

• Location is Bengaluru, with a hybrid work model (Bengaluru office three days a week).
