Overview
Own regional Finance, Controlling and Fixed Assets data domains for the SAP S/4HANA and o9 Planning transformation. Drive data harmonization, governance, migration, testing, training, go-live support and stakeholder coordination between global standards and regional requirements.
What you'll do
- Own the regional data object scope for Finance, Controlling and Fixed Assets and serve as the primary stakeholder contact for data migration activities.
- Understand the global data template, identify legacy data objects, sources and dependencies, review the data landscape, and map business SMEs, data validators and stakeholders.
- Identify deviations from the Global Data Template and communicate them to the Regional Transformation Lead.
- Facilitate Fit-Gap sessions with Infosys, identify gaps, capture decisions and open items, prepare Key Design Decision documents, and ensure business requirements are addressed.
- Provide insights for data profiling, extraction and conversion from legacy systems and build mappings between SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
- Perform value mappings, review CDDs and mapping documents, validate extraction rules and conversion logic, and execute data migration reporting, analysis and requirements gathering.
- Support mock migration cycles and review results, resolve conversion errors and discrepancies, and complete data collection for manual and construction objects on time.
- Lead data cleansing and harmonization, coordinate resolution of data quality issues, and track and report cleansing progress and quality metrics.
- Coordinate governance and sustainability initiatives and ensure master data solutions comply with governance, audit and control requirements.
- Coordinate regional testing, ensure data accuracy and end-to-end testing, lead validation and sign-off, and manage data-related defects.
- Participate in integration testing and UAT cycles.
- Execute training programs, prepare training materials and documentation, and support change management and adoption of standardized processes.
- Support cutover data migration during go-live, provide hypercare guidance and issue resolution, monitor data quality, resolve post-migration issues, and hand over documentation and knowledge to BAU and operations teams.
- Maintain and improve performance measures and use data analysis to identify trends, patterns and anomalies for decision-making and process improvement.
- Deliver regional data migration workshops, provide stakeholder reporting and status updates, and foster transparent collaboration.
What you'll need
- A 4-year degree in Data Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of professional experience in business process operations in a large organization, ideally in the consumer goods industry.
- 6+ years of experience in data migration, master data management, or data governance roles.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP S4/HANA, particularly in Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), and Fixed Assets (AA) modules.
- Proven experience in large-scale ERP transformation or migration projects.
- Solid understanding of data profiling, data cleansing, data mapping and data conversion methodologies.
- Experience with data governance frameworks and documentation standards.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at multiple levels across regions.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns and anomalies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to facilitate workshops and lead discussions.
- Proven ability to work across teams, functions and geographies.
- Meticulous approach to data accuracy, validation and documentation.
- Proactive identification of issues and ability to drive resolution.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and timelines.
Nice to have
- Experience working in a global or regional matrix organization, with FMCG or CPG industry experience preferred.
- Familiarity with o9 planning platform integration.
- SAP certification in relevant FI, CO or AA modules.
- Experience with data migration tools and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of data quality management tools and techniques.
