Application Engineer

Overview

Application Engineer responsible for reviewing customer inquiries, preparing techno-commercial quotations, supporting valve and actuator selection, and coordinating order execution.

What you'll do

• Review and register customer inquiries in the ERP system.
• Evaluate technical specifications, costs, delivery factors, and legal requirements.
• Select, size, and price valves, actuators, and spares.
• Prepare and submit techno-commercial offers and respond to customer queries.
• Track offer progress and update the ERP system.
• Prepare monthly quote and order forecast reports.
• Handover converted quote order files to the contracts team.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in application engineering and quote generation.
• Full-time B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Expertise in control valve applications, product specifications, codes, and standards.
• Knowledge of sizing software, instrumentation, manufacturing processes, material testing, and NDE.
• Knowledge of API 6A Choke and API 6A PSL and PR requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and ERP systems.
