Application Engineer- Presales Chiller

Overview

Application Engineer - Presales Chiller role providing technical application support to field sales for air cooled chiller equipment opportunities in India.

What you'll do

• Provide technical product application support to sales teams for air cooled chiller equipment sales opportunities.
• Respond to field sales inquiries on chiller/heat pump applications, technical details, and manufacturing capabilities.
• Guide field sales toward solutions to meet customer requirements and optimize the final scope of supply.
• Support special quotation (SQ) needs by providing cost and lead time estimates and reviewing special options.
• Support technical clarifications with customers and advise system design approaches and equipment packages.
• Define specifications for chillers and sub-systems and align support with regional product strategy.
• Monitor customer/field questions to develop new applications and contribute product/application feedback and training material.

What you'll need

• BE/BTech in Mechanical or Electrical.
• Minimum 3 years of HVAC or refrigeration-related experience in application engineering, product engineering, or technical marketing.
• Strong knowledge of application and field practices related to air cooled chillers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Strong verbal and written English skills.
