Validation Engineer

Overview

Validation Engineer responsible for building, testing, and validating products/systems to ensure they meet design and performance standards, specifications, and global regulations.

What you'll do

• Own validation testing for new and existing products/systems and third-party technologies.
• Source materials and equipment and set up the test cell to execute tests.
• Execute testing in compliance with procedures and regulations.
• Record, resolve, and communicate technical problems found during build and testing.
• Work with design teams to design out manufacturing and operational issues from prototype work.
• Document test/validation process and results and generate conformance reports.
• Support validation testing across manufacturing, operations sites/depots, and vendor locations.

What you'll need

• Have a degree in engineering plus a recognized apprenticeship in an electrical/mechanical discipline or equivalent related experience.
• Have proven experience in equipment and system testing for power generators, temperature control equipment, and battery energy storage systems.
• Be able to interpret schematic drawings and follow logical fault identification processes.
• Demonstrate strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
