Application Engineer III

Overview

Support pre-sales engineering for Fire Detection System projects by reviewing requirements, preparing technical and commercial deliverables, and coordinating quality and timely delivery.

What you'll do

• Review project inputs, specifications, MEP drawings, SOPs, and requirements.
• Prepare bills of material, equipment selections, network details, and cable calculations.
• Develop costing sheets, comparison charts, checklists, technical write-ups, and block diagrams.
• Participate in project kick-off and review meetings and maintain technical logs and minutes.
• Ensure quality assurance, defect-free deliverables, and on-time delivery.
• Escalate scope and project delivery issues with supporting evidence.
• Coach team members on product knowledge, technical skills, and technical sales.

What you'll need

• 4–10 years of relevant Fire Detection System experience.
• BE or ME in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Electronics and Communication.
• Strong knowledge of Fire Detection Systems.
• Expertise in NFPA, BS 5839, EN, and FM standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office tools, and Bluebeam.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership and problem-solving skills.
