Overview
Application Engineering Tech Lead responsible for expert-level application and database engineering, including requirements analysis, system design, development, implementation, and technical leadership.
What you'll do
- Provide IT technical leadership for complex software, middleware, and hardware initiatives across multiple platforms.
- Design, develop, implement, architect, and maintain applications and databases.
- Oversee testing across functionality, performance, and security, and support production systems as needed.
- Drive technical design and translate product/architectural guidance into approaches engineers can execute.
- Evaluate and approve technical solutions and guide teams through complex issue root-cause analysis and remediation.
- Apply cloud-first and AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with IT and Information Security policies for deliverables.
What you'll need
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, architecture, and system integration.
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or IT, or BCA, or MCA.
- Expertise in software architecture, system design, and technical leadership for enterprise cloud-based production-grade software.
- Experience mentoring and providing technical guidance through hands-on contribution.
- Comfort using AI-assisted engineering tools to improve developer productivity and code quality.
- Proficiency in NodeJS and TypeScript/JavaScript development.
- Proficiency in AWS technologies including CloudFront, S3, ECS, IAM, DynamoDB, Lambda, SNS, SQS, Glue, Step Functions, Athena, and CloudWatch.
