Application Engineering Technical Lead - II

Overview

Lead a team of software engineers and drive the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native full stack applications at Vanguard India in Hyderabad, Telangana, working closely with business stakeholders, product owners and architects.

What you'll do

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering technical excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Drive solution design, architecture reviews and technical decision-making across multiple initiatives.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, coding practices and development methodologies.
• Provide technical guidance on complex design, scalability, performance and security challenges.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality, security and maintainability standards.
• Collaborate with architects and senior stakeholders to define technology roadmaps and solution strategies.
• Design, develop, test and maintain full stack applications using modern technologies and frameworks.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable technical solutions.
• Develop responsive frontend applications and robust backend services.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, integrations and event-driven solutions.
• Design database schemas and drive performance optimization initiatives.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Drive CI/CD adoption and deployment automation practices.
• Support production readiness, troubleshooting, incident resolution and operational excellence.
• Champion observability, monitoring, logging and performance optimization initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise security standards and secure software development practices.
