Application Support Analyst

Overview

Application Support Analyst responsible for building and monitoring Power BI dashboards, supporting SQL-based data validation, and handling application monitoring and incident resolution.

What you'll do

• Build, analyze, and monitor Power BI dashboards for successful data ingestion and validation.
• Use SQL to run data queries and support data integrity checks and troubleshooting.
• Assist the ANZ team with application monitoring from an application support perspective.
• Track email alerts via monitoring tools to support timely file processing, reconciliation, and discrepancy highlighting.
• Contribute to creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Finance & Payment Operations.
• Serve as the first escalation point to resolve complex issues from other support teams.
• Handle incident resolution, problem determination, and root cause analysis for production issues.

What you'll need

• 2-4 years working as an Application Support (with focus on DB monitoring).
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Experience with tools such as Postman and SOAPUI.
• Good T-SQL skills.
• Strong communication skills and business/technical understanding of the product.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills to manage priorities and workflow.
• Ability to assimilate new information quickly and translate it effectively to the workplace.
