Application Support Engineer

Overview

Provide L1/L2 application support, cloud operations, or SRE support for Java, Spring Boot, and microservices-based applications.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot Java 11, Spring Boot, and microservices-based applications.
• Perform query debugging and data validation using SQL and PostgreSQL or CloudSQL.
• Diagnose application and database performance issues.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure with Dynatrace or similar APM tools.
• Manage Kubernetes and Docker containers, including pod lifecycles.
• Troubleshoot CI/CD build and deployment issues.
• Analyze Linux logs and manage processes using command-line tools and scripts.

What you'll need

• 3–6 years of experience in L1/L2 Application Support, Cloud Operations, or SRE.
• Hands-on experience with Java 11.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
• Working knowledge of GCP services including GKE, CloudSQL, Memorystore, IAM, and Cloud Logging.
• Experience with SQL and PostgreSQL or CloudSQL.
• Experience with Dynatrace or similar APM tools.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and ITSM tools for incident lifecycle management.
