Job description
Overview
Software Engineer II for Guidewire’s cloud-native integration platform, working on features, enhancements, and bug fixes for integration services used by customers.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and run cloud-native integration platform and SaaS services.
- Write code for the platform, with hands-on coding over 90% of the time.
- Own Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) for services.
- Ensure scalability, availability, and data security for services.
- Triage and resolve code defects.
- Maintain secure code and resolve application security findings.
What you'll need
- Minimum 2-4 years of required work experience.
- Excellent programming skills in Java.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, multithreading, and AWS (or another public cloud).
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS, and Docker.
- Experience with AWS DynamoDB.
- Selected understanding of distributed systems concepts and principles.
