Java Application Support Engineer- (Japanese Speaking)

Overview

Java Application Support Engineer providing technical support to Guidewire customers.

What you'll do

• Provide technical support to customers using Guidewire products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incoming support cases, including root-cause identification.
• Communicate status updates and provide clear technical explanations to customers.
• Create and maintain knowledge articles for customer-reported issues.
• Perform operational tasks to provision, rebuild, configure, and restore customer cloud services.
• Manage and resolve incidents within contractual SLA timelines.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years’ experience working directly with customers or key internal partners.
• Hand-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud applications and cloud infrastructure/services.
• Familiarity with incident tracking/CRM such as Salesforce.com and defect tracking such as JIRA.
• Fluency in English and Japanese (JLPT N1/N2 a plus).

• Location: Bangalore, India.
• 24x7 support using a Follow-the-Sun model across APAC, EMEA, and AMER.
• Local daytime working hours Monday–Friday with occasional rotating weekend shifts.
