Application Support Engineer

Overview

Act as an Application Support Engineer and software detective, identifying and solving issues across multiple components of critical business systems. Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot technical challenges, analyze system performance, and improve application support processes.

What you'll do

• Perform independently and become a subject matter expert.
• Participate actively and contribute in team discussions.
• Contribute solutions to work-related problems.
• Assist in developing and implementing application support strategies to enhance system performance.
• Document and communicate technical issues and resolutions effectively to team members and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
• Analyze system performance and contribute to the continuous improvement of application support processes.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Hadoop Administration.
• Proficiency in Hadoop Administration.
• Strong understanding of distributed computing concepts and architecture.
• Experience with cluster management and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with data storage and processing frameworks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in Hadoop environments.
• 15 years of full-time education.
