Associate Application Administrator

Overview

Support the implementation, operation, maintenance, and reliability of enterprise software applications in a systems administration role. The position supports analytical software, dedicated hardware, and server-based laboratory applications.

What you'll do

• Support implementation, operations, and maintenance of enterprise applications.
• Support analytical software, dedicated hardware, and laboratory applications.
• Resolve application issues and technical challenges.
• Execute change requests.
• Maintain system documentation.
• Coordinate solution implementation across multiple groups.
• Drive issue resolution to completion.

What you'll need

• 2 years of systems administration experience or equivalent education and training.
• Proficiency with Windows Server and Linux administration and architecture.
• Knowledge of relational database concepts.
• Experience with desktop operating systems and MS Office, MS Project, and MS Visio.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and learn technical skills quickly.
• A technical certification may be required.

Nice to have

• Computer Science or a related field of study.
• Experience with laboratory information systems.

• Location: Bengaluru, India.
• Work schedule: Second shift, afternoons.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Work in an office/laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological materials.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in various positions is required.
