B-Application Support Engineer Tier 1B

Overview

Provide Tier 1B application support for Alegeus Systems, using product knowledge, SQL, data analysis and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues for the company and business clients.

What you'll do

• Use problem-solving and critical-thinking skills combined with product knowledge of Alegeus Systems to help solve difficult technical issues for the company and business clients.
• Handle a fast-paced environment and multitask while resolving company and business client cases.
• Review CSV and fixed file formats.
• Analyze logs and triage issues.
• Perform basic API testing.
• Use data analysis to research and troubleshoot issues.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience with end user technical support for software applications.
• Experience with SQL, including MS SQL, Oracle, etc.
• Experience in CSV/fixed file format review.
• Experience in log analysis and issue triaging.
• Understanding of REST APIs and basic API testing.
• Demonstrated ability to use data analysis to research and troubleshoot issues.
• Bachelor's degree required with specialization in MIS, computer science or equivalent.
• High aptitude for problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Strong interest in learning new things and comfort in pushing new boundaries.

Nice to have

• Specialization in MIS or computer science is preferred, or equivalent.
• A passion for healthcare, financial services, behavioral economics, consumerism and/or any combination of these disciplines.
