Application Support Engineer

Overview

Act as an Application Support Engineer and software detective, identifying and resolving issues across multiple components of critical business systems. Support the smooth operation, integrity and performance of enterprise planning applications through monitoring, investigation and collaboration.

What you'll do

• Act as an SME, collaborate with and manage the team to perform.
• Make team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to streamline support processes and improve response times.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues across various components of essential business systems.
• Continuously monitor and investigate critical applications to maintain system integrity and performance.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS).
• Proficiency in Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities related to Oracle Planning and Budgeting environments.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex application issues within enterprise planning systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver timely solutions.
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools and performance tuning in Oracle Planning and Budgeting contexts.
• 15 years full time education.
