Applications Development Sr Programmer Analyst – C12

Overview

Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst (C12) responsible for analysis, development, and implementation of new or revised application systems in coordination with the Technology team.

What you'll do

• Participate in feasibility studies, time/cost estimates, IT planning, and risk technology activities.
• Monitor and control development phases including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
• Provide user and operational support for applications to business users.
• Analyze complex problems and evaluate business/system process and industry standards.
• Recommend and develop security measures after implementation based on business usage.
• Consult with users/clients and other technology groups to recommend advanced programming solutions.
• Act as advisor/coach to new or lower-level analysts and serve as an SME to senior stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques and methods.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes.
• Bachelor’s degree/university degree or equivalent experience.
