Overview

Senior Programmer Analyst responsible for technical leadership and architecture for robust, scalable financial applications across the development lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Lead design, development, and implementation of financial applications from requirements to deployment and support.
• Define architectural patterns and best practices for Oracle-based solutions, Python microservices, and UI components.
• Develop and optimize Oracle SQL/PLSQL solutions, including performance tuning and database design.
• Build responsive user interfaces using frameworks such as Angular or ReactJS.
• Design cloud-native solutions and support containerization/orchestration strategies.
• Manage project timelines, dependencies, deliverables, and coordination across multiple teams.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues to maintain high availability and performance.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive software development experience.
• At least 3+ years in a lead or architect role within financial reporting applications/warehouses.
• Advanced, hands-on Oracle Database skills including complex SQL/PLSQL, performance tuning, and data modeling.
• Expert-level Python proficiency for application development, including Flask and/or Django experience.
• UI development experience with Angular or ReactJS (JavaScript frameworks).
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and data storage/retrieval using S3 Sonic Bucket.
